Canine Rehabilitation “Homework”

Most of our patients in the therapy center are treated on an outpatient basis.  After a thorough examination by the therapy team, we will detail specific work that we ask the pet owner to perform at home. During that initial consultation, we demonstrate the proper technique and provide written material as well. We offer some of these exercises in photo or video format for clients to refer to as necessary.  We provide this information with the knowledge that informed and educated pet owners are a vital resource in their pet’s healing process.  We will add new exercises to this site as they are available.

We caution visitors to this site that not every exercise is appropriate for every patient. Before beginning any of these exercises, please consult with your surgeon, primary care doctor or rehabilitation specialist.
