Dr. Burke, a Catonsville native, graduated from UMBC in 1982 and received her DVM with honors from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1985.  Her interest in performance horses and prior equine practice experience contributed to her interest and pursuit of advanced training in canine rehabilitation. Dr. Burke completed the Canine Rehabilitation Program through the University of Tennessee in 2004 earning the CCRP designation.  As the veterinarian team leader for Paradise Pet Therapy, Dr. Burke consults on all new patients as well as assesses progress on existing patients. Dr. Burke lives in Woodstock with her family, two dogs and two cats.
